Win another free copy of RADIO FREEFALL
To continue with Free Book Month, in celebration of (a) one year of blogging; (b) 100 posts; and (c) the official end of my book promotion tour (although I'll still be promoting books here and there, mostly here) I'm giving away another signed copy of RADIO FREEFALL.
This time I'm going to make you work for it. A little. Visit the Praise Page on Matthewjarpe.com. Read the reviews. Make a list of all the books the reviewers compared RF to, get those books off your shelf (if you really want this book you probably have most of them) and take a picture of them all spread out or stacked up however you like. If you have the most books in the picture, you win. I won't judge by artistic merit of the arrangement because I have no eye for art whatsoever. I'm a scientist and scientists count things.
For those of you who have the book and want to share RF goodness with the world at large, spread this contest around. Mention it on other blogs, message boards, etc. All part of my sinister plan to have the most popular blog in all of ... Quincy. No, physical location is irrelevant. The most popular blog among debut science fiction novelists of 2007. No idea who the competition is for that. Someone should put a list together.

I don't have all of those books in my library but I really enjoyed your book. I am looking forward to your next book.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. If you think you know someone else who might like it, tell them about the contest.
UPDATE: Here are a couple of other reviews that speculate on my influences:

Ok so this is fun, yet frustrating. You see my library is divided, with a full half or more of it at my folks' house where I stored it while moving about the countryside for years. That being said - and sounding suspiciously like an excuse - I just did what I could. I'm not sure in what manner pics may show up on here so I'll try a couple different lines - forgive the raw HTML if that's what shows up.

Hopefully one of those works. I threw G,G & S in there b/c you've referenced it numerous times, so I'd say that counts for "influences". In addition I recall reading somewhere here that you were in a writer's group with Clement, so I put one of his books in there as I think being in a group with the guy - something must've rubbed off. Of course, my well-read copy of Heinlein is front and center since that has popped up in multiple reviews.
Anyway, it's always fun pulling books off the shelf. I'm sure someone will have a more complete list, but in the meantime, here you go.
Excellent job, Sean. I doubt anyone is going to top that, but let's give them until the end of the month, just to be fair.
